Symform Announces Two New Additions to Top Executive Team

Symform, a provider of offsite cloud storage and backup service, recently announced the addition of two new members to its top executive team. The company introduced Chris Boscolo, who will join as VP of engineering, while Candace Grisdale will be appointed as new Vice President of worldwide sales. Symform has over the past few months added a number of top executives to its core team in an effort to consolidate the foundation for its global distributed cloud storage network.
Chris Boscolo, who holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, has an employment history of more than a decade within the networking, security, and cloud industries. According to company sources, Boscolo has proven his leadership skills in innovation and engineering positions across a number of companies. Additionally, he has to his credit a number of patents. Before his appointment at Symform, Boscolo served as chief technology officer at Napera Networks and was chief software architect at WatchGuard Technologies (News
- Alert). During his tenure at WatchGuard, Boscolo was responsible for software development for the award winning Firebox which is a Firewall/VPN appliance.
In a release, Matthew J. Schiltz, CEO of Symform, said, "Symform is rapidly building a massive peer-to-peer global cloud storage and backup network. This requires a senior management team comprised of proven technology executives. With the addition of Candace and Chris in these vital positions, I am confident our fast growth will gain even further momentum."
Candace Grisdale, who brings with her more than 20 years of experience in sales, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Whitman College and studied for her MBA at Seattle Pacific University. Grisdale, prior to her appointment at Symform, was responsible for managing channel sales at DocuSign, where she set into place channel strategies to drive sales.
