By integrating this new program, service providers who are building public or private cloud offerings with VMware vCloud, Citrix CloudStack or OpenStack platforms will be able to sign up and offer their customers a free ScaleXtreme Xpress account to manage their servers.
In a release, ScaleXtreme CEO Nand Mulchandani (News - Alert) said, “ScaleXtreme provides the fastest way for customers to provision and manage their cloud servers. This helps cloud service providers offer new, differentiated products to their customers and increase customer satisfaction through self-service server management.”
ScaleXtreme customers who leverage the CSP will now be able to provision new servers, manage existing servers, configure, monitor as well as run one-time or recurring automation jobs on these servers. The Cloud Service Provider Program is made up of a reseller/affiliate agreement, an integrated API for user and account management and also special management resources and customized training modules that will improve the overall customer experience.
The company offers powerful, cloud-based server automation products for the modern distributed data center. The company offers IT departments a single unified automation platform which can be used to build and control physical, virtual and public cloud servers.
