All Covered Acquires Memphis-Based Service Assurance

In an effort to strengthen its presence in key growth markets, All Covered, a division of Konica Minolta (News - Alert) Business Solutions U.S.A., has acquired Memphis-based managed IT outsourcing company Service Assurance.

As a result of the acquisition, a group of talented professionals from Service Assurance now becomes the part of All Covered team.

In operation for 14 years, All Covered delivers high-performance Managed IT Services to small- and medium-sized businesses. All Covered has local offices in over 25 cities. The team includes more than 300 engineers. The company is fully certified in all major technologies.

Service Assurance is a trusted provider of strategic IT planning, 24x7 help desk support, remote backup management, cloud services, email and security management. Service Assurance is the largest regional technology support and Managed IT Services provider in the Mid-South. In a press release, All Covered said that Service Assurance's business vision aligns perfectly to that of its own.

CEO of Service Assurance Mark Giannini said that the merger will enable the company to better serve its Mid-South clients. Giannini also maintained that the acquisition will give its employees the broadest career growth opportunities

All Covered was acquired by Konica Minolta in January 2011. The All Covered acquisition allowed Konica Minolta to extend the reach of solutions and services it can offer its customers. The acquisition provided the clients of both the company with a single source for a broad range of products and services -- ranging from industry-leading MFP products, comprehensive workflow solutions to Optimized Print Services and Managed IT Services, all while delivering exceptional value and support.
