Involta LLC, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, based provider of high availability colocation enterprise data centers, has recently signed a definitive agreement to acquire all the assets of SolutionPro, a data center and managed services provider located in Boise, Idaho. "Involta has a tremendous reputation for building new Tier III facilities and working to engineer innovative solutions for clients. NetApp to Buy Engenio External Memory Business in $480 Million Deal

Memory storage network designer NetApp has agreed to purchase Engenio, the external memory division of LSI Corp., for $480 million. The all-cash purchase will expand NetApp's reach into the market for video imaging and other data-heavy applications. It is expected to close within 60 days.
