eGestalt Channel Program Offers a Cookbook for Managed Services Providers

March 15, 2011

Only seven months after launching the industry's first Managed Compliance Provider (MCP) Program for MSPs, VARs and other service providers, eGestalt has emerged as a major player in the industry.

The company has won several awards and recently launched a cloud computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application. The unique channel program is tailored to MSPs, VARs, process consultants and managed security services providers (MSSPs), enabling them to deliver affordable, cloud-based security and compliance offerings.

The company's VP of Worldwide Sales, Jim Hare, was recently named a Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN. The award is given to leaders who create effective channel programs for solution providers by consistently defending, promoting and executing effective channel partner programs and strategies.

"Our MCP program is designed to benefit all channel partners who wish to offer their clients a high-margin, recurring-revenue based managed compliance service in the IT-GRC space," said Hare. "This program is unprecedented in the industry. By delivering a cloud based security and compliance solution through SecureGRC, we are offering a low-cost, high-value monthly subscription based, pay-as-you-grow alternative, finally making it affordable for small and mid-size organizations that operate in highly regulated industries."

eGestalt's MCP program offers its own "Cookbook," a best practices educational resource guide to help resellers transition to a profitable managed services model.

The company's SecureGRC SB cloud computing and SaaS application, launched in January, helps companies meet HIPAA and HITECH privacy and security rules with less cost and complexity than most standard approaches.

The SecureGRC features an on-demand, cloud-based, pay-as-you-grow subscription service that enables up to 10x reduction in total cost of ownership, a great savings prospect for cost-conscious small and mid-size organizations.

The Channel Chiefs were chosen by Everything Channel's editorial staff based on policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue generated by their company through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

“Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. This year’s Channel Chiefs offer tremendous insight into the who’s who of the Channel,” said Kelley Damore, VP, editorial director, Everything Channel. “Top channel executives consistently ensure that the Channel’s voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships. We applaud this year’s Channel Chiefs for their successful partner programs and strategies.”

“We are very thrilled to have Jim receive this prestigious award from CRN," said Anupam Sahai, president of eGestalt. "This reinforces the commitment to channel partners and a validation of the channel partner program that we have put in place. We look forward to working with our channel partners to gather their feedback to continue to deliver a compelling solution that has multiple awards in technology and channel-based solution innovation.”

“Healthcare IT solution providers need a tool to help their medical practice clients with conforming to HIPAA and other compliance standards," said Chris Johnson, CEO of Untangled Solutions of Los Angeles. "eGestalt takes the mystery out of the compliance process. Their cookbook explains step-by-step how to get started with offering a managed compliance service for the channel. eGestalt allows us to automate the audit process and provide tangible evidence of what needs to be addressed and how to address it within a medical practice.”
