PFH and RackForce Deploy Nimsoft Managed IT Infrastructure Solution
June 07, 2011
PFH Technology Group, a private information and communications technology company in Ireland, is deploying the Nimsoft Monitor solution to offer its clients 24/7 monitoring of their critical IT infrastructure and applications. The Nimsoft solution is part of the company’s Nimsoft Unified Manager, a multi-tenant IT Management-as-a-Service solution featuring infrastructure monitoring as well as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based service management capabilities.
The solution will enable PFH to attract and keep new enterprise clients as well as offer added value for existing clients. The comprehensive, unified monitoring solution offers improved transparency and visibility into the performance level and availability of client services, and will also help PFH reduce its operational overhead. The Nimsoft Monitor will also support PFH’s move to the cloud, as its architecture is suited to dynamic hosting and IaaS environments.
RackForce, a hybrid cloud computing solutions provider, recently deployed the Nimsoft Monitor as well. The company is using it to provide round-the-clock monitoring of its clients’ critical infrastructure. The Nimsoft Unified Management Portal also enables Rackforce to offer clients improved insight into the health of their infrastructure, as well as enabling reduced support and operating costs. The Nimsoft Monitor allows the company’s IT staff to filter out false positives while quickly troubleshooting and resolving service interruptions and addressing other potential problems.
“Nimsoft uniquely supports the strategic direction of service providers, such as PFH, that are looking to deliver comprehensive, easy-to-implement solutions,” said Chris O’Malley, Nimsoft CEO. “With Nimsoft Monitor, PFH clients will gain broader visibility into their existing IT investments and help ensure that their service-level expectations are consistently being met or exceeded.”
“Our clients have to drive down their IT costs, even as they leverage technology to deliver greater value to their businesses,” said Jason Boyle, director of PFH Technology Group. “By implementing Nimsoft Monitor, we can give our clients the insight they need to maximize the performance of their existing IT investments and more intelligently project their future capacity requirements.”
“The versatility of Nimsoft Monitor is ideally suited for RackForce’s secure multi-tenant, highly scalable hybrid cloud services,” said Brian Fry, co-founder and vice president of RackForce. “This helps ensure we meet our SLA requirements and provide our clients with much more detailed reporting and performance metrics that we couldn’t provide in the past. It is an ‘Ah-ha!’ solution that delivers the right functionality at the right price – and it aligns perfectly with our everything-as-a-service delivery model.”
