VAR Annese & Associates Deploys Zyrion Monitoring Solution
September 12, 2011
Zyrion, Inc. announced that Annese & Associates, a $54 million VAR, has deployed the company's Traverse software platform to monitor its customers' networks, servers and applications. Annese is an IT service provider focusing on design, installation and maintenance of integrated voice, video and data systems. The company focuses on K-12, higher education, state and local governments and healthcare customers.
Annese serves a variety of businesses throughout the New York and New England areas. The company recently deployed its Annese Remote Managed Services (ARMS) offering, which integrates the Traverse software platform.
The ARMS offering aims to monitor and quickly fix network issues before customers experience service disruptions. The service works to anticipate and identify communication network issues before they become a problem. If an error should occur, Annese will manage and mitigate the situation. The company's services are available on a 24x7 basis, or on a next business day or next business visit basis, depending on customers' specific requirements.
The ARMS offering features real-time, in-depth monitoring of IP networks; maximization of the end user's experience and IPT investment; free internal resources like network monitoring, management and maintenance tasks; proactive care and maintenance of IPT network to minimize disruptions; inventory and change monitoring to track and complete details of unified IP communications environments and an escalation point for internal resources.
The Traverse platform from Zyrion is an IT monitoring and Business Service Management software solution designed for complex IT environments. It uses Business Container technology along with pre-integrated network monitoring and software capabilities to enable IT and business personnel to create unique virtual views of discrete business services.
The platform facilities decentralized network performance monitoring, server monitoring and application monitoring that is pro-active and preventive, rather than reactive. It gives employees the level of control and information they require based on specific responsibilities and permissions. Traverse also offers an intuitive, web-based user interface that is distributed, scalable, real time and easy to use.
“Remote monitoring capabilities, broad IT infrastructure coverage and ease of adding new devices were key requirements that Annese was looking for in a new monitoring solution,” said Vikas Aggarwal, Zyrion founder and CEO. “Our Traverse platform met these needs and more, and we are confident that Traverse will help Annese assure the performance of the IT infrastructure of its customers and deliver exceptional services.”
