MSPAlliance Awards ScienceLogic with MSPWorld Cup 2012

February 09, 2012

ScienceLogic’s IT operations and cloud management platform, received Tuesday the award for Best Managed Services Enabling Technology in the MSPAlliance MSPWorld Cup Award 2012.

The MSPWorld Conference was held in Miami and is recognized as the premier gathering place for managed service providers (MSPs).

“Being voted as the best enabling technology by attending MSPs is a direct result of a burning need by service providers to gain control over increasingly complex data center and cloud environments,” said David Link, chief executive officer of ScienceLogic.

ScienceLogic competed with 28 other vendors for the esteemed title and thanks to MSPWorld attendees and online voters won the coveted award.

“We are driven to eliminate the paralysis created by management technology that wasn’t designed specifically for service provider needs. Our platform allows an aggressive pursuit of growth opportunities by making it extraordinarily simple to introduce new services,” said Link.

ScienceLogic, according to the company, provides a centralized management and monitoring platform for service providers and enterprises. Monitoring and managing all components that make up IT service become easier because ScienceLogic’s platform pre-integrates the tools their customers need, so they can be viewed through a single pane of glass.

"We are pleased that ScienceLogic has been recognized for their achievements and hard work in the managed services profession," said Charles Weaver, chief executive officer of MSPAlliance. "Without these technologies and tools, the managed service provider community throughout the world would not be able to deliver their solutions and services effectively.”

According to Weaver, the MSPWorld Cup Awards were created so that the MSP community could easily identify the companies that have been recognized for having the best enabling technology in their respective fields.

In related news, a week prior to their MSPWorld Cup Award, ScienceLogic won the Cloud Computing Excellence Award, given by global integrated media company TMC and Cloud Computing Magazine.

ScienceLogic received the award because their platform gives providers and corporations visibility into and control over their public and private cloud-based resources along with their data center infrastructures, all from the same management console, as noted in the release.

“The Cloud Computing Excellence award is recognition that ScienceLogic is helping customers manage compute no matter where it resides, leading to more streamlined IT operations and the introduction of services that can drive revenues and improve customer satisfaction,” said Link; adding, “The beauty is that the ScienceLogic platform can serve as the management hub for IT operations now and easily extends management to new architectures, devices, systems and applications as customers add virtual and cloud-based resources.”
