N-able Technologies Integrates its N-central 7.0 with IBM Lotus Foundations
September 03, 2010
N-able Technologies, a provider of remote monitoring and management or RMM software for managed service providers and IT departments announced the integration of N-central 7.0 with IBM Lotus Foundations.
This integration is expected to provide managed service providers or MSPs with more ways to simplify services, increase profitability and also improve operational efficiencies in their networks, elaborated N-able officials.
In a release Derik Belair, N-able’s vice president of marketing and business development said, “Demand for remote managed services in areas such as backup and recovery, email management and security is rising, which makes the timing of this alliance ideal for MSPs.”
“By successfully integrating N-central with IBM Lotus Foundations, we are providing MSPs and IT professionals with world-class remote management capabilities that can't be found in any other single, centralized offering,” Belair added.
The company’s N-central is now integrated with IBM Lotus Foundations to provide a range of custom monitoring services. This makes access to Lotus Foundations metrics possible from the same centralized N-central interface used for performing remote monitoring and management functions. MSPs will not be able to leverage the appliance’s wide range of tools.
These tools are capable of handling critical IT tasks like high-performance monitoring, data backup and recovery, interoperability, office productivity, file and print sharing, collaboration, network security and others. The Lotus Foundation appliances are also self-managing and self-healing, featuring automated functionality that saves time. This enables busy MSPs to do business more rapidly and efficiently.
N-able is offering “One Dashboard to Manage All Things IT” freemium to global IBM partners to enable accelerated adoption of managed services. This “freemium” offering provides IBM partners with a one-year subscription to N-central hosted software free of charge.
The offering includes 10 N-central Professional licenses for devices that require full management; 50 N-central Essential licenses for devices that require basic management; 60 Endpoint Security Manager licenses to protect customers’ Windows devices from a wide variety of threats and one Professional license for every Lotus Foundations appliance that a partner deploys.
N-able Technologies’ N-central platform and complementary toolsets, backed by business and technical services help clients a lot as they reduce IT support costs, improve network performance and increase productivity through the proactive monitoring, management and optimization of IP-enabled devices and IT infrastructure.
