DataWave Certifies Ingenico Terminals for Prepaid Product Point-of-Sale Activation

VANCOUVER, British Columbia --(Business Wire)-- March 30, 2005 -- DataWave Systems Inc. (OTCBB:DWVSF)

DataWave Systems Inc. announced today that it has certified Ingenico's Elite 710 "multi-app ready" terminal with its Point-of-Sale Activation (POSA) technology for use at retail locations throughout the United States and Canada. These economical and robust terminals will now be able to activate DataWave's prepaid long distance cards, cellular PINs and other prepaid products.

DataWave's POSA technology gives retailers the capability for instantaneous on-demand electronic delivery of PIN-based prepaid products.
